Evaro lake trip
Over the Presidents' Day weekend we went to our first (since our car's arrival) field trip out of Libreville. This is not counting our one-day retreat to a beach in Pointe Dennis a few weeks ago with some friends from the Embassy.
This time we went to a beautiful little island in the middle of a lake one hour upriver by motor-launch from Lambarene. It was a relaxing weekend with a nice company of french friends and wonderful cuisine in a camp run by a Canadian guy. More pictures from this trip are posted here on Flickr.
