Ribs rock (n roll), pigs fly
Memphis - my next little discovery. I’m a big fan of BBQ ribs, and don't care much about Elvis -but the two famous places that we managed to see impressed me greatly. The first was Corky's BBQ restaurant-- the ribs were just fantastic... slowly cooked for 7 hours! And guess what? the restaurant can FedEx your order to you anywhere in U.S. Too bad you can't somehow eat over the Internet yet :)
The other one was Elvis Presley home, Graceland, with his collection of cars and planes. Unbelivable is the extend of fans' madness allowing the place to be a pure-mechanic money-making machine. One funny detail about the place: every one of the several museums or exhibits exits into a gift shop :)
In the whole - the trip was just great. We both enjoyed it very much. It was the first time for us going to the southern states (and riding a convertible for a week too :)
Now we are back in St. Louis relieving the grandparents from the boys. Both of the grandparents are eager to go back to work on Monday. They say that they had a grand time last week too :)
